Vincent Russo was an Assistant Chief in the New York City Police Department. He served as an Assistant Chief and commanding officer of Patrol Borough Manhattan South for almost 4 years before being terminated in 2018 for breaking the chain of command by gerrymandering the deployment of NYPD officers at the request of the Mayor, without informing the Commissioner.
