"Unsung Heroes" is the eighth episode of the sixth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis

When another victim of serial killer Thomas Wilder surfaces, Danny and Baez go to his mother to get new insights and find a lead. Unfortunately when they get to the location Wilder has already left, calling to taunt Danny and threaten his family.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie respond to a call where they are split up with Sgt. Mulvey and Jamie taking the front. Things get tense when the Sergeant goes in against Jamie's best judgement and engages the hostage taker and endangering everyone in the process. Gormley gets involved when Jamie and Mulvey end up tussling over the situation.

Elsewhere, Nicky gets upset when she discovers that protesters plan to interrupt Frank's visit to Columbia and desperately tries to get him to cancel.
