"The Poor Door" is the fourteenth episode of the fifth season of Blue Bloods.
Synopsis
Frank gets tipped off to a possible corrupt detective by the press, who was once a partner of Gormley who wants to quarterback the investigation. Due to his former association with the man, Gormley hesitates to dig deeply on his own, causing Frank to chastise him for not doing his job.
Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie respond to an armed robbery, where they are involved in a shootout that wounds a suspect and an officer. Neither the detectives on the case or Jamie and Eddie can seem to make the man talk, until Jamie gets creative and casually finesses information on the shooter from their wounded suspect.
Elsewhere, Danny and Baez investigate a murder in the affordable housing section of an upscale apartment complex. Their victim is a school teacher who turns out to have been dating a young woman from the other section of the apartments whose father is former KGB but has an alibi for the murder.
