"Fresh Start" is the fifteenth episode of the sixth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis

Erin is abruptly pulled from a dinner when a man who was given a second chance through a pilot program she supported is accused of shooting a cop. She feels guilty and is criticized by the cop's widow as well as the media as she and Anthony investigate to see if he really committed the crime.

Meanwhile, Mayor Poole's decision not to formally ask Frank to stay on as Police Commissioner adds strain and causes Frank to take it out on him over the "Fresh Start" program.

Elsewhere, Danny and Baez are assigned the odd case of a missing cop who has only been unaccounted for a short while. As they look into it, Jamie fills in a few missing pieces when he tells them that, after his son died, the cop in question separated from his wife and is suspected of drug use.
