Pete Freehill was a Detective in the New York City Police Department.

Career[]

Detective Freehill's case involving a four-perpetrator gang rape of Lily Rivera (a teenage girl), made him become rouge when all the rapists were acquitted of their crimes. Fed up with his failure in the case, he decided to take justice into his own hands. He planned on murdering the four acquitted people in the case himself. He murdered two of the four rapists before he was confronted by Detective Reagan.

He was transparent with Detective Reagan, who sympathized with his loss in court. Detective Reagan was shocked when he discovered Detective Freehill was responsible for the murder of the two rapists. Detective Reagan discovered Detective Freehill's role in the murders when Detective Freehill was about to kill one of the two remaining rapists. Detective Reagan attempted to deescalate the situation by listening to Detective Freehill's complaints about the case. After hearing Detective Freehill's complaints, Detective Reagan lied to him by swearing he'd arrest the rapists since it would be easy to catch them committing another crime. Upon hearing Detective Reagan's promise, Detective Freehill gave himself up and allowed himself to be taken into custody.
