Notes & Trivia
- This episode marked Jackie's final appearance as a main cast member, as Jennifer Esposito left the show due to health issues that prevented her from filming on schedule. Esposito reprised her role over ten years later as a guest cast member in both Season Thirteen and Season Fourteen, the latter being the show's final season.
- Due to Espositio's depature, she is temporarily replaced by Megan Ketch as Danny's first new partner Kate Lansing, and finally Marisa Ramirez as Maria Baez, who would remain as Danny's partner for the remainder of the show.
- The DVD contains a deleted scene for this episode.
- Audio commentary for this episode by Donnie Wahlberg and Kevin Wade.
- There is an error in the Roman numerals on the Christian cross. It is stated to say "FXA, Anno Domini, MCMXXVIII" on it in small letters. "MCMXXVIII" translates to "1928" in Arabic numerals. However, Danny says that it is 1978. There was meant to be an L (50) in the number, making it "MCMLXXVIII," which does translate to "1978."
