LaTanya Richardson Jackson is an American actress and producer. Her appearance in film include Fried Green Tomatoes, Malcolm X, Sleepless in Seattle, When a Man Loves a Woman, Losing Isaiah, Lone Star, U.S. Marshals, The Fighting Temptations, among others. She's known for her role as Mama Mabel in Luke Cage, and for her recurring role as NYPD Lieutenant Dee Ann Carver in the CBS crime drama television series Blue Bloods during its fifth season.
