Kate Lansing is a Detective in the New York City Police Department. She is part of the Internal Affairs Bureau.

Biography

Detective Lansing was originally part of the Internal Affairs Bureau before she worked at the 54th Precinct for a brief period.

Detective Lansing met Detective Reagan when Sergeant Gormley assigned her to an incident which occurred on Halloween[1]. Detective Lansing assumed the place of Detective Curatola after Detective Curatola took a leave of absence.

Detective Lansing spent six months in Haiti doing an assignment in the region after an earthquake. During her time in Haiti she witnessed voodoo[2] being practiced.

Detective Lansing helped prove Detective Reagan's innocence when he was framed by Captain Elwood. After she helped prove Detective Reagan's innocence, she transferred back to the Internal Affairs Bureau.
