Glen Hollis is a Captain in the New York City Police Department. He was the Commanding Officer of the 12th Precinct in season eight. His only appearance was in the episode The Brave, where he's seen in a standoff with a mentally handicapped man named Billy.
Season 8[]
The Brave[]
A mentally handicapped man named Billy steals an RMP wishing to assist officers' in a 10-85 in progress. He ends up surrounded by NYPD officers with Captain Hollis being the highest ranking officer on the scene. Officer Reagan and Officer Janko arrive and insist they talk to Billy because he knows them. However, Captain Hollis denies their request. Despite denying their request, Officer Reagan breaks Captain Hollis's order to stay back from the RMP. Officer Reagan proceeds to approach the RMP, attempting to deescalate the situation. Officer Reagan successfully convinces Billy to leave the RMP. When Billy exits the RMP, Officer Reagan arrests Billy.
Back at the precinct, Captain Hollis drills Officer Reagan for breaking a direct order and is insulted by Officer Reagan. Officer Janko inserts herself into the situation, attempting to calm down Officer Reagan and to explain the situation with the RMP. Captain Hollis proceeds to state an offensive remark towards Officer Janko. Officer Janko proceeds to insult Captain Hollis with the same remark used by Officer Reagan. Captain Hollis suspends Officer Reagan and Officer Janko for insubordination, forcing them to turn in their service firearms, shields, and ID badges before leaving the precinct.
