Notes & Trivia

  • This is the final appearance of Lorraine Bracco as Interim Mayor Margaret Dutton.
  • This scene where the attending officers at Officer Dunleevy's funeral had turned their backs on the mayor is inspired by the murders of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu who were shot by Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley as they were sitting in their patrol car in the Bedford–Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn on the afternoon of the 20th December 2014.
    • Where in the episode the officers had turned their backs on the mayor at the funeral, in the case of Officers Ramos and Liu, the NYPD officers turned their backs on Mayor Bill de Blasio at Woodhull Medical Center where Ramos and Liu were taken and pronounced dead.
