Detailed recap of the episode which contains MAJOR SPOILERS. |
Danny responds to domestic disturbance call. Mrs. Davis tells him that she served divorce papers to her ex-husband that morning. Her ex-husband, Warren, then came to her place and became verbally abusive. Her son, Andrew, comes out of the apartment, telling her mother that she should not have called the police. Danny then asks about the investigate consultant assigned by Children's Services. It turns out that this person is Henry.
Janko notices the car in front of her fits the description of a double homicide in the Bronx. She and her partner pull the car over. As Janko's partner search the back of the car, he discovers a vial, upon which Janko orders the driver out of the car. A .38 calibre revolver was then found under the driver seat (which fits the description of the double homicide), and the driver is immediately under arrest. At 1PP, Gormley briefs Frank how responding to "a typical noise complaint" led to the arrest of FDNY Commissioner Stan Rourke. Gormley says all eyewitnesses say it was the FDNY Commissioner who started the altercation with "our guy". Frank expresses his tiresomeness of the rivalry between the NYPD and FDNY, and says while the NYPD may not have started it, "our guys poured gasoline on it." Erin has a meeting with the Mayor-Elect, Peter Chase. He starts the meeting by expressing disagreement with the DA's position that accused criminals and victims have the same rights. He then states his support for her candidacy for the Manhattan District Attorney, and tells her with his endorsement after becoming mayor, she will win "in a landslide". He then tells Erin someone by the name of Sam Terhune, and suggests talking to him about her candidacy. Erin responds by saying that her first concern is the loyalty to her office. Peter reminds her that Mr. Charwell (the current DA) "is not the office". |
