"Flags of Our Fathers" is the eleventh episode of the sixth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis

When Danny starts getting questioned about an old partner and an old case, he has a hard time believing the accusations.

After Erin advises him to not speak without a lawyer as they already have evidence, he confronts his old partner and discovers that Detective Reid planted evidence without his knowledge. Danny convinces Erin to give him 48 hours to find new evidence in order to try to keep a murderer behind bars.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie encounter an embittered girl while speaking at a school. Her grandmother told her that her father was murdered by cops without cause, leading Jamie and Eddie to dig up the case in an effort to help her. Elsewhere, Frank is concerned with a group of protesters who plan to burn an American Flag at a veterans memorial, an action he cannot legally stop. When the protesters are attacked, Frank battles allegations that the NYPD failed to protect them.
