Dino Arbogast was the former NYPD chief of department. He also served as chief of the Organized Crime Control Bureau (OCCB/OCIB) prior to becoming department chief. In 2014 he was forced to resign after a blackmailing scandal interfered with his loyalty to the Department[1].

Not much is known about his life before serving as a Department Chief.
Career
Dino was a police chief working out of One Police Plaza for several years at least, before being forced to resign. Over his years of service he received several service medals including Excellent and Meritorious Service and was a staunch ally. He served well until he was drawn into a scheme of DA Amanda Harris and subsequently blackmailed with footage of himself and an escort. After compromising a case and the department, Frank Reagan had him resign both to punish him and avoid departmental discipline that could embarrass the department.
