Bones to Pick is the tenth episode of the tenth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis[]

After a woman is found dead at a men's-only club, Danny and Baez investigate whether her death was foul play or accidental, with Baez personally getting involved due to disliking the club's policy against allowing women. Frank gets wind of an alleged extramarital affair between the chief of Internal Affairs and the spouse of another member of law enforcement, and enlists Baker and Gormley to retrieve further information. Eddie argues gender politics with Jamie after giving him a "honey-do" list, later revealing feelings of insecurity to Jamie regarding how his siblings' marriages ended, and the fact they don't often see each other due to working opposite shifts. Erin tells Anthony to end his investigation into a habitual thief. Despite Erin telling Anthony to drop the investigation, Anthony continues to tail the habitual thief who was released without bond, putting himself in harm's way.

Anthony is angry a thief is released without a bail requirement. The defendant tries to bait Anthony and Anthony almost gets into a fight with him.

Garrett tells Abigail and Frank one of their chiefs is accused of having an extramarital affair. Frank states the Internal Affairs Bureau will not handle this investigation. Abigail realizes the Chief of Internal Affairs is the one accused.

Eddie is in a good mood when she says hello to Jamie at the change of shift. Jamie is exhausted. Eddie hopes to see him for brunch. She gives him a list and he complains it is a "honey-do" list.

Baez and Danny are called to the scene of a mens club where a woman has been killed, supposedly stumbling in drunk and hitting her head. The men at the club say there are no women allowed in the club.

Baez is sarcastic with the men who insist there are no female members. There are no cameras in the club and no phones allowed.

Eddie tells Jamie a story about a guy who says he is wearing his roommate's pants. Jamie gets upset when Eddie calls him honey because he forgot to do her list. Eddie thinks Freud would say he forgot because he doesn't like being told what to do by a woman.

The dead woman had drugs and alcohol in her system, however she ultimately died from a severe injury to her head. Baez believes the woman was murdered. Danny doesn't believe the woman was murdered. The medical examiner states the case is pending police investigation.

Sid and Abigail stake out the Chief of Internal Affairs. Abigail admits her guard is up with her husband after working this case. Sid states this is why he drinks rather than having an extramarital affair. Sid and Abigail observe the Chief of Internal Affairs with the woman. Abigail takes photos of the Chief of Internal Affairs with the woman.

Anthony speaks to his mother on the phone while parked. He ends the conversation with his mother when the thief breaks into his car and steals a backpack. Anthony arrests the thief.

Danny purchases Baez White Castle and says there is a triple homicide uptown. Baez says the cheeseburger is a bribe. Danny insists the case they're investigating is an accident. Baez believes the case they're investigating is a murder. She says the victim didn't have a phone on her. Meaning, she must have known where she was going.

Sid believes Frank should use facial recognition to ID the woman seen with the Chief of Internal Affairs. Frank states Abigail knows her already. The woman is Lorraine Birch, an ex-cop Baker used to work with. She is married to the Head of the Counterterrorism Division. Frank is worried about Jack Birch becoming too distracted to perform his duties if he learns his wife is cheating on him.

Baez and Danny visit Albert. They ask Albert if wants to amend his statement. They tell him they want to make sure everything is right before they make a statement. His wife shows up and asks if everything is okay. They say in front of her lying to law enforcement officers is a crime. Albert sends his wife away. Albert asks if he can go and tend to his wife. Baez and Danny give permission to Albert to do so. Albert proceeds to close the door in their faces.

Erin startles Anthony. Erin says Anthony was stalking the thief and now the thief was caught on another misdemeanor, meaning he will be released again. Erin doesn't like what Anthony did and feels it was not respectful of the law. Erin makes Anthony promise to not stalk the thief again.

Eddie and Jamie argue again because Jamie finishes the list and Eddie believes he's overcompensating. She says he's did it to prove she's wrong, which proved she was right. Eddie says Jamie's behavior is all Henry's, Frank's, and maybe Danny's fault.

Danny and Baez interrupt Frick picking up his kid from school. They ask him why Albert called him. He tells Danny and Baez to speak to his lawyer. After he tells Danny and Baez to speak to his lawyer, he throws a cup away which Danny retrieves from the trash.

Baez follows Colleen who says she can't talk to her. Baez says Colleen got him to call Fritz. Baez tells her that Frick's finger prints were on the victim.

Abigail says the Birches are happily married. Frank wants to talk to Lorraine himself. Abigail thinks that would be intimidation. Sid believes they should discipline the Chief of Internal Affairs. Garrett believes such an action would cause rumors in the NYPD. Sid states the Chief of Internal Affairs may not get away with his action of engaging in an extramarital affair. Frank states the person who leaked the information about the Chief of Internal Affairs is actively observing the situation.

Abigail states the extramarital affair is private business and none of Frank's business. Frank disagrees, however Abigail, Garrett and Sid disagree with him.

Baez and Danny confront Albert. Colleen states she knows Albert would not harm anyone.

Jamie is upset about what Eddie said before. Eddie says she didn't mean it and it wasn't nice. Jamie states he doesn't know what that means. Eddie says she doesn't like it they aren't spending any time together. She's worried about them being the only couple in the entire family. She is worried Jamie is too comfortable being alone. Jamie says he's sorry. He gives her a list of his own. They walk off together, resolving the situation.

Albert states the men in the club send him into the stock room when they want to be with girls. He states he did not see the woman until Frick and Brooks put her on the floor. She was already dead when Frick and Brooks put her on the floor.

Baez and Danny confront Brooks who states Frick was responsible for her death.

Anthony catches the thief again, and chases after him. The thief shoots Anthony and runs away.

Erin runs to the hospital to see Anthony. Anthony is nonchalant about it. Erin is angry he didn't stay away from the thief, as she told him to do before.

Frank sits in the back of a car and tells the Chief of Internal Affairs to end his extramarital affair immediately.

Brooks attempts to board a private plane. He says he is going on a business trip. In reality, he was traveling to a country without an extradition treaty. Danny and Baez state Frick had a video of Brooks saying he killed the girl. Brooks is arrested by Danny and Baez.

Abigail, Garrett and Sid confront Frank about the Chief of Internal Affairs. Frank states the Chief of Internal Affairs will end the extramarital affair, therefore no further actions will be taken. Garrett believes Frank's approach to the situation is a coverup.

At Sunday dinner, Frank doesn't wish for grace to be rushed. Eddie is confused. Everyone in the Reagan family explains during Christmas they like to take grace seriously.
