"Blast from the Past" is the nineteenth episode of the sixth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis

When an attack on an athlete in Brooklyn matches the MO for two other attacks Danny and Baez are already investigating, they end up working with Baez's former, and previously married, Detective boyfriend. As the evidence points to a female suspect, Baez and Detective Mosley start seeing each other again.

Meanwhile, Frank is put in a difficult position when an officer who once shot an unarmed teen has worked his way up to a promotion. Despite him having done it in a completely allowable manner, the potential for public backlash makes Frank search for alternatives.

Elsewhere, Jamie and Eddie end up taking the report on missing luggage of a couple of tourists in town for a wedding, quickly finding out that one of the bags contained the bride's ring. When the case is assigned to an already swamped detective the women beg Jamie and Eddie to help them find the ring, to which Jamie readily agrees.
