Synopsis[]
Erin's nephew, police officer Joe Hill, becomes aware of witness tampering in a trial; Baez forces Danny to help her find the killer of her favorite TV personality; Eddie questions her decision to become a police sergeant.

| When Joe Hill (Will Hochman) overhears his lawyer girlfriend seemingly pressuring a witness not to take the stand, he brings it to Anthony and Erin's attention; they ultimately have to rescue the lawyer from her client who had kidnapped her. In the end, Erin takes Joe to the bowling alley she and Joe Sr used to go to every week, and she tells him more about his father. Meanwhile, Baez takes Danny to a live taping for her favorite TV personality, who drops dead of an allergic reaction. Baez is convinced she was poisoned, and she and Danny conclude that her estranged husband is behind the act, having convinced the star's assistant to spike her coffee with what gave her the allergic reaction. Frank visits the home of Lieutenant Raymond Moretti (Tony Danza) after it had seen gunfire, finding his son is involved with a gang; Moretti keeping his son (who was participating in illegal activity) in his home is revealed to be a violation of NYPD rules. Having passed the sergeant's exam with flying colors, Eddie works an undercover stint with SVU and decides she wants to be a detective rather than a sergeant. |
