"All the News That's Fit to Click" is the third episode of the sixth season of Blue Bloods.

Synopsis

Frank allows a young reporter, Lorenzo Colt, to ride along with Jamie and Eddie but a fake call leads to him being shot while waiting in the car.

Danny and Baez are assigned to investigate, concerned that the attacker was going after cops but quickly run into troubles when it becomes clear that the reporter is withholding information to give himself the inside scoop. When a suspect is discovered with what evidence they do have, Lorenzo fails to identify him as the attacker.

Meanwhile, Garrett considers a job offer because of his guilt over Colt's attack and Linda struggles with the psychological aftermath of her injuries.
